Mahogany Hardwood Conservatories
Mahogany hardwood conservatories always look quality;
where ever they are built and always in keeping with any property.
The deep rich colour will blend in with any surround and will never
look out of place; equally painted hardwood is frequently used on
listed buildings and other properties where the natural colour may
not be fitting.
Above left is an example of what Crown Top conservatories in mahogany
hardwood look like. This one boast a 600 mm cavity base wall
in matching stock bricks to the property, with French doors opening
out from the left.
The window frames are top opening with square lead pattern and
offer excellent ventilation. Conservatories of this excellence are
inclined to have a glass roof with roof ventilators. Note the flat
glazed area to the top with a cresting this is where the name crown
top originates from.
- Today many people like the tactile feel of wood but like to
be diverse and have their conservatory painted in botanical colours
e.g. green, blue or even purple although you have to be very brave
to use these colours the effect can be very satisfying something
you can't have with uPVC.
- Because of the restrictions in harvesting timber you will find
that any reputable hardwood conservatory company will purchase
there timber from sustainable forests so the impact is minimal.
-
As
all hardwood conservatories are handmade you can be sure of having
a design that will embrace your property from the unassuming lean-to
to the striking Edwardian, Victorian and Georgian designs in all
sizes. Mahogany is a natural resource and we respect that as much
as you do.
- Maintenance can be a bit of a worry but with today's technology
e.g. bio glass from Pilkington’s you don’t even have to clean your windows. A special coating is applied to the glass which sheds any organic dirt every time it rains. The external areas of the roof are maintenance free, this leaves only the outside windows and doors which should only take around 8 hrs by any professional decorator cost around £175.00 every 3 years or so which amounts to £1.12 per week !!

- Why not request a free quotation or brochure from one the market leaders in the industry and see exactly what the cost is after all you have nothing to loose but you may gain a luxury conservatory.
